Французский скульптор Огюст Роден (1840-1917). Основоположник импрессионизма в скульптуре.
Родена интересовала эмоциональная и психологическая жизнь человека. В своих работах он передавал связь внутреннего мира человека и его облика. Черпал вдохновение в «Божественной комедии» Данте, произведениях Шарля Бодлера и в образах порталов готических соборов, ну и в женщинах.
