В пятницу прошёл благотворительный марафон Hope for Haiti telethon в помощь жертвам землетрясения на Гаити. Акция – телемост по сбору средств с прямыми включениями прошла в Лос-Анджелесе, Нью-Йорке и Лондоне. В Лос Анжелесе ведущим марафона стал Джордж Клуни, в Нью-Йорке – Уайклеф Джан, а на Гаити – ведущий новостей CNN Андерсон Купер. Всего свыше 100 известных деятелей шоу-индустрии пообщались по телефону с желающими оказать помощь жертвам землетрясения. Среди музыкантов, принявших участие в масштабной акции: Боно и Эдж из ирландской рок-группы U2, рэпер Jay-Z, Мадонна, Шерил Кроу, группа Coldplay, Стиви Уандер и другие.
столько знаменитостей Оо хорошо когда такие беды не остаются без внимания!
